AOC BLANQUETTE DE LIMOUX, BRUT
COLOUR : A beautiful mousse with persistent bubbles
shows an attractive light yellow robe with the green
reflections.
NOSE : The perfume firstly exhales floral notes such as
hawthorn, which leave space for more fruity notes such
as white-fleshed fruits.
MOUTH : The wine keeps its honey notes whilst
preserving its attractive freshness which is
characterized by a fine effervescence and a good acidity.
GRAPE VARIETIES : Mauzac, Chardonnay, Chenin.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS : Recommended at 7-8 °C. Will be
enjoyed as an aperitif.
It was in 1531 that the benedictine monks of the
Saint- Hilaire Abbey, a village close to Limoux,
produced the first sparkling wine in the world.
In tribute to its origins, the Saint-Hilaire vintages
present the quintessence of a unique know-how.
